The 5-star Parkhotel Quellenhof was built in a neoclassical style based on designs by Carl Stöhr and opened in 1916. In 1999, it was extensively renovated and reopened by the Jagdfeld Group. It has 122 exclusive rooms and suites as well as a wellness and spa area with an indoor pool, sauna facilities and a fitness room. The hotel also has a business centre and 13 conference rooms.
Since 2023, REELAB has been working as a technical partner to JAGDFELD RE Management GmbH on the development of the ESG strategy and the energy optimisation of the building stock.
An economically optimised energy modernisation concept is currently being developed for the Parkhotel Quellenhof Aachen, taking into account the defined energy targets and the existing property qualities.
Energy optimisation AdlonThe Hotel Adlon on Pariser Platz was first built in 1907. After its destruction in 1945, it was reopened in 1997. Today, with 385 rooms and suites, 3 top restaurants and a spacious spa area, the hotel is one of the most luxurious and renowned hotels in Europe.
The project was developed by the JAGDFELD Group. Over the past 40 years, the company has realised over 800 properties with a volume of more than five billion euros. JAGDFELD RE Management GmbH currently manages properties worth over 2.5 billion euros with a total area of around 732,000 m².
REELAB is currently developing an energy modernisation concept for the Hotel Adlon and is examining possible certification options. In addition to significantly reducing energy consumption, the particular challenge is to develop a concept that does not restrict the operation of a 5-star luxury hotel.
Energy optimisation – DeteconThe DETECON Bonn property is a multi-tenant office complex in Bonn-Oberkassel with a lettable area of approx. 28,400 m². The property was completed in 1992.
Since 2023, REELAB has been working as a technical partner for JAGDFELD RE Management GmbH in the development of the ESG strategy and the energy optimisation of the building stock.
An economically optimised energy modernisation concept is currently being developed for DETECON Bonn, taking into account the defined energy targets and the existing property qualities.
The task also includes the preliminary assessment for sustainability certification, the realisation of an investment cost estimate for the asset strategy and the examination of funding opportunities.
Energieoptimierung – Spreebogen PlazaThe Spreebogen Plaza property is a multi-tenant office complex in Berlin-Moabit with approx. 24,500 m² of rental space. The building was completed in 1995.
Since the third quarter of 2023, REELAB has been supporting JAGDFELD RE Management GmbH in the development of a future-proof and sustainable building concept within the scope of energy optimisation services.
This involves developing an economically optimised energy modernisation concept based on the existing property qualities, which ensures a significant reduction in energy consumption and operating costs.
This takes into account the requirements of the desired BREEAM certification targets, the developed ESG strategy and possible subsidy scenarios.
Energieoptimierung – Vodafone ZentraleCOLCAP GmbH is a German investment company based in Düsseldorf. The investment focus is on investments in the asset classes “Core” to “Core Plus”.
In 2020, COLCAP GmbH acquired the office building THE TECH HUB. The centrally located building with approx. 13,000 m² of rental space and an unobstructed view of Tempelhofer Feld is the Berlin headquarters of Vodafone.
REELAB was commissioned by COLCAP GmbH to provide technical consultancy services within the scope of technical asset management. The aim of the contract was to ensure the optimal operation of the building. The scope of services also included consulting and preparation for the energy optimisation of the building.
Energieoptimierung StofanelThe STOFFEL Group was founded 110 years ago as a food retailer and has developed into an investor, property developer and landlord since 1978. More than 100 projects have now been realised.
In 2022, the REELAB assessment team carried out an inventory of the property – Unter den Linden 39 in Berlin – as part of the energy optimisation service profile. As a first step, an inventory of the property was carried out in order to localise the necessary maintenance requirements within the next 10 years. At the same time, the necessary energy refurbishment measures were calculated on the basis of the target definition of the energy level to be achieved.
Based on the results, STOFFEL Holding GmbH developed a strategic modernisation concept.
Energieoptimierung – Plaza Frankfurter AlleeThe Plaza Frankfurter Allee property is a multi-tenant office and retail complex in Berlin – Friedrichshain with approx. 37,400 m² of rental space. The building was completed in 1995.
Since 2023, REELAB has been working as a technical partner for JAGDFELD RE Management GmbH in the development of the ESG strategy and the energy optimisation of the building stock.
We are currently reviewing and developing an economically optimised energy modernisation concept for Plaza Frankfurter Allee, taking into account the defined energy targets, existing property qualities and funding opportunities.
Other tasks include the preliminary assessment for sustainability certification and the investment cost estimate for the defined energy modernisation potential.
Energieoptimierung – Hyatt MünchenThe Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor was opened in February 2019 as the third European hotel of the five star Hyatt subsidiary, after London and Amsterdam.
The Andaz Munich hotel offers 277 guest rooms in a pioneering design, a restaurant and cocktail lounge, a 1,600 m² large meeting and conference area including a ballroom, as well as a 2,000 m² large spa and gym. A special highlight is the bar and rooftop terrace on the 12th and 13th floors offering a stunning view over the city.
Our partner office ABP I LÖ defined the fundamentals of all monitoring, open- and closed-loop control and optimization systems in the building and prepared the execution planning of the building automation system for an energy efficient, economical and safe operation of the building services installations.
Energieoptimierung – Europa CapitalEuropa Capital Ltd. is a partnership within the Rockefeller Group, which is majority owned by Mitsubishi Estate Co Ltd.In the joint venture with Skjerven Group, the aim is to build a real estate portfolio with a focus on residential, with an admixture of hotels and commercial space, over the coming years.
Since 2020, REELAB has acted as a technical partner in the joint venture’s acquisition process. From 2022, a more comprehensive assessment of the energy development potential will be carried out. In addition to conducting a technical due diligence, the calculation of the necessary energy refurbishment measures to ensure ESG compliance will be carried out in parallel based on the target definition of the energy level to be achieved.
